1) I love horses and ride every weekend.
2) I am allergic to nuts, peanuts and horses. I also get bad hay fever.
3) I can crochet and have made a cushion cover.
4) I collect wade whimsies.
5) My favourite movie is Harry Potter and the goblet of fire.
6) Sausages with mash, yorkshires and gravy is my favourite tea.
7) I like sewing and I have a mini sewing machine which is mint green.

10) My favourite book is called The elephant in the garden by Michael Morpurgo. I love to read.

Hi Daisy!
ReplyDeleteWow a mint green mini sewing machine sounds great and clever you being able to crochet, I want to learn but I seem to be all fingers and thumbs.
My favourite book when I was a girl was The Secret Garden, I loved the idea of a secret place hidden behind a door and wall. x
Hi Daisy, it's Eve. My favourite book is The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne. I would love to ride horses. I'm thinking of getting a sewing machine. Bye, see you soon, Eve. x

ReplyDeleteHi Daisy. Lovely post and great facts. I used to collect Wade Whimseys too. My favourite book when I was a kid was The Adventures of Pip by Enid Blyton. I named my cat Pip after the main character. I hope you do more blog posts, Daisy. Lynda xx

Hi Daisy
ReplyDeleteI am envious that you can crochet - I can't :(
When I was about your age I loved the Malory Towers books - nowadays I love reading anything which is set in rural England - and rather too many Country Living style magazines.
thank you for all the lovely comments you wrote

Hi Daisy. I loved your post!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame you are allergic to horses when you love riding! I wonder if it helps a little? I used to get a scratchy throat from animal fur but haven't once since we got our spaniel, Bertie.
My favourite book used to be The Enchanted Wood by Enid Blyton. I think I read it about thirty times!
Next time your Mum cooks your favourite supper, give me a shout and I'll pop round - I love sausage and mash too! :-)

Hello Daisy!

Hello Daisy. I used to collect whimseys too when I was your age. My favourite children's book at the moment is the new one by Micheal Morpurgo called Not Bad for A Bad Lad - it's got a horse in it and is set partly on the Suffolk coast near where I live. My other favourite is Farmer Duck, but you're probably too old to enjoy that one now!
